Pramod Mohanlal is an executive and entrepreneur with long experience in creating new ventures.
At the leading South African financial institutions Absa and Nedbank, his responsibilities included progressive responsibility for credit, marketing, e-business, information management, and home loans. His achievements included designing a pioneering home loans program for Absa, in partnership with the bank’s parent company Barclays PLC, to finance cross-border mortgages and provide bundled services to international home buyers.
More recently he has been appointed as a Member of Jacob Zuma’s Presidential State Owned Enterprises Review Committee, assessing South Africa’s policy toward the 200+ firms owned by the state.
In addition to leading New Markets’ work in the region Pramod runs Fidelité Pty, a firm specializing in reframing industries through leveraging innovative value networks. He is a graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, UNISA and the executive program of Stanford University.
