Lauren is an expert researcher, with particular strength in the Jobs to Be Done methodology. During her time at New Markets, she has developed growth and go-to-market strategies for companies in a variety of industries, from medical diagnostics to transportation technology.
Prior to joining the team, she worked on a number of startup projects, ranging from a biomedical device for pediatric humerus fractures, to a bicycle security system and an injury prevention device for runners. Lauren also worked as an engineer for a product design startup, where she assisted on the mechanical design and user-centered development of a wide range of consumer products.
Lauren graduated with distinction with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University. She was a member of the varsity cross country and track teams and was elected Captain for her senior season.
