Marielle is a seasoned growth strategy and innovation consultant with a deep passion for uncovering new market opportunities and helping companies transform bold ideas into sustainable growth. Over the course of her six-year career at New Markets Advisors, she has worked with more than three dozen companies across four continents, helping them unlock new sources of growth, launch innovative products, rebrand to stand out in competitive markets, and create customer-centric solutions. Her work spans industries including consumer goods, healthcare, and technology, and her clients, such as Cinemark, Tillamook, Roche, Boston Scientific, Meta, and Twitter, have trusted her to assess market opportunities, lead innovation workshops, and develop long-term strategies that foster sustainable growth.
What drives Marielle is her belief that true innovation stems from a profound understanding of customers' Jobs to Be Done. She is deeply committed to helping her clients not just uncover surface-level insights, but unearth the deeper, often unmet, needs of their customers. By building this foundation of understanding, she helps companies create customer-centric innovations that resonate, drive engagement, and fuel growth. She is passionate about ensuring that innovation isn't just a one-time event, but a repeatable, sustainable process that continues to create value over time. As part of New Markets Advisors' leadership team, Marielle thrives on mentoring and coaching her colleagues, fostering an environment where talent grows and thrives, and where the culture of innovation extends beyond client work to how the firm operates. Before joining New Markets Advisors, Marielle spent four years at Procter & Gamble’s regional headquarters in Latin America, where she led the brand strategy for Head & Shoulders across the region. In this role, she developed and implemented the brand’s innovation strategy, launched four new products, and designed go-to-market strategies, messaging, and multi-channel marketing plans. She also spearheaded the brand’s digital strategy across Latin America, leading a full rebranding campaign. Marielle's experience extends to healthcare and education. As an account supervisor at Hill Holliday, she led the marketing strategy for a newly launched Novartis drug that became a blockbuster. Additionally, she founded an adult education startup serving the Latin American market, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and education. Marielle holds an MBA (magna cum laude) from Babson College and a BA (summa cum laude) from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. She previously served as an academic and business advisor to undergraduate students at Harvard University. She speaks Spanish, French, and Italian. Originally from Venezuela, Marielle has lived in four different countries and traveled to over 50—experiences that have shaped her global perspective and problem-solving approach.
