Gus Nordmeyer

Gus drives strategy and market research work with curiosity and diligence. Leveraging experience in both fast-paced consulting and research environments, he solves unique business challenges across a wide range of industries. Gus spent the earlier part of his life abroad in Istanbul, Shanghai, and Bangkok; he brings the global consumer's perspective to the forefront of his work.
Prior to New Markets, Gus worked for a leading consumer goods consulting firm, where his quantitative and customer analyses drove the go-to-market strategy of a legacy ice cream brand and the category expansion of a challenger cereal company. Gus also worked as a summer intern for a Class-B RV start-up, where he researched and conducted financial analysis as part of diligence on a manufacturing facility investment. In his role as a research assistant for the Williams College Economics Department, he used economic analysis to calculate historical campus emissions. Gus graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Economics and East Asian Language & Culture. Gus was captain of the men's varsity crew team and won two national titles in the first boat. Outside of work, Gus enjoys fly fishing, road cycling, and practicing his Mandarin. |
